Dr. Thea Lanoue (Currently on maternity leave)

Director, Chiropractor

Hi, I’m Dr Thea.

I love working with people who have struggled to solve their health challenges and desperately want to regain the confidence they once had in their bodies.

I give them the tools to resolve chronic problems, once and for all, through teaching the principles of living Life By Design. They are the same steps I implement in my own life to ensure my requirements for health are continually met.

I love learning and am constantly studying as my own health needs change and evolve. I can confidently say I’m on the cutting edge on how to meet the foundational requirements of health in the best ways possible.

I graduated from Western University in London, Ontario with a 4-year Bachelor of Health Sciences. During my undergraduate studies I took a fateful trip to Whistler, which prompted my move to Vancouver shortly after graduation.

After calling Vancouver home for a few years, I made the difficult decision to return to school and am so happy I did. I temporarily moved my life 11,000 km away to attend the world-renowned New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland.

Since being in professional practice, I continue to maintain membership with the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association, Canadian National Alliance for Chiropractic and am registered to practice with the College of Chiropractors of BC.

I continue to upgrade my clinical and chiropractic technique skills through post-graduate training, most notably in the areas of prenatal and pediatric care.

When I’m not working with my wonderful practice members or designing new systems in the office, I can be found traveling up and down the West Coast, snowboarding at Whistler or walking my dog Teddy along the seawall.

If you’re interested to know more, here are 5 things you don’t know about me…

  1. I fully subscribe to “the life-changing magic of tidying up”… and if I wasn’t a chiropractor, I would be a professional organizer.
  2. My love for the West Coast was inspired by my childhood interest in marine biology and wanting to have my own sea-otter sanctuary.
  3. I only read non-fiction (anything productivity, business or self-improvement related).
  4. Going out for dinner with friends or family is my favourite things to do.
  5. I love anything with polka dots.
